I live in crazy. A crazy that I have done nothing to curb, I have more than likely encouraged or possibly have been an example for. I am presently enjoying a spontaneous bed time out burst of ‘Let’s go fly a kite’ circa Mary Poppins by my three youngest. Some other crazy to share…
…my daughter breaking into ‘She’s a lady’ (channeling Tom Jones) while shimmying through the kitchen.
– supper preparation kitchen dance parties.
– my daughter’s dramatic leaps and pirouettes through intersections.
– various and sundry silly walks, my son’s ‘forest walk’ and ‘street walk’ are of particular note.
– morph words. Something I do by accident when two words try to come out of my mouth at the same time, my kids do on purpose.
– nefarious earworm planting. The worst presently is my son’s subtle and not so subtle planting of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total eclipse of the Heart’. I can’t even fathom where he would have come across that song, but thirty years of not hearing it can be erased in seconds and place on repeat for hours.
I happily accept responsibility.
