I guess that would be me.
I am going argh, because I am attempting to put together a resume. I don’t have the tendency to get along with most types of forms, whether it be the fill-in-the-blank type or a format like a resume, cover letter, application. I think it might be because all I want to say is, ‘I am a good and honest hard worker. I am adaptable and will do most things without complaint (although I do have preferences). Hire me.’ I have always been challenged in putting together resumes and applications but it seems more difficult now when it has been years since I was traditionally employed. How do I summarize in a professional language the vastness of that experience? Creative problem solving, interpersonal management, adaptability, willingness to learn, resourceful, these are all phrases/words that can be used to communicate that my children have accomplished the ages they are with minimal damage. I am pretty confident that demonstrates a job well done.
