Chauffeur, chef, personal assistant, receptionist, nurse, dog trainer, personality management and conflict resolution, home repair, baker, bicycle mechanic, teacher, motivation coach, confidant, creative director, nutritionist, photographer, gardener, dress and costume maker, artist, councillor, graphic designer.

A teacher once said to me that I was a jack-of-all-trades.  I think she meant that I was so busy trying to do everything right that I didn’t excel at anything.  At the time it was definitely not a compliment.  I still don’t believe I excel at one specific thing, or even multiple things.  I am still a jack-of-all-trades, and it is a good thing to be.  I do many things well.  I cannot claim to wholly be any of the things that I have listed above, but I can be any and all of them at any moment in the day.  I think that is a requirement of my job, being a Mom.
