I love food. Food is a fabulous thing. I spend much of most days making food for my family, and whomever passes through my kitchen when I am creating. It is a good thing I like cooking and baking because there are hours put into making it but it is devoured in no time at all. Most things I make turn out pretty well. There don’t seem to be a lot of complaints, which is a good thing because I am not known for following recipes too closely. Today’s food experiment was with pizza. I had some leftover rainbow trout that I baked a couple of days ago that had been marinated in lime, garlic, and thyme. So that went on the pizza with carmelized onions, thin sliced potatoes, olive oil, feta, capers, and mozzarella, on a made at home pizza crust. It might sound like a bit of a mish mash but, boy howdy, was it yummy. My children even tried it, which is unusual when they had barbecue chicken, chorizo, bacon with double cheese pizza to choose as well.
