How’s that for a racy heading?
We have a collection of wooden chairs that serve as our kitchen seats. Some are inherited, some were rescued, all of them are old or older. Most of them are getting a little creaky and loose as joints loosen and the glue dries out. One or two we have begun to wonder if the next time we sit on them whether they are going to spring apart. Instead of waiting for that providential moment, my husband went out, got some glue, and tackled the problem. This is his first victim. Maybe it was my hazy, just woke up brain, but it seemed to me that the chair had been throughly subdued.
