Okay, I will completely admit that I probably have my holiday glasses on (they are like rose-coloured glasses, where everything looks better because you are on holiday), but the farmer’s markets blow the markets at home out of the water.  The quality of product, the variety, the busy-ness.  I think the biggest difference for me is that there are crafted dairy products and wineries and distilleries have booths.  You can get everything that you need at the market except toilet paper.  Everything at the market is made or grown by the people that are there.  Which isn’t an odd or new concept but is amazing to see when it comes together.
