I love road trips. My husband and I went on a two week road trip after only knowing each other a couple of weeks. That was a make or break moment. Most of our family holidays have been road trips. Our destination of choice is the East coast. I love the East coast, especially Nova Scotia. The variety of beaches to wander along, the fabulous food, the beautiful wood houses and churches, the markets, the artisans, the people… I think the only thing I don’t like is leaving. I have a few more days before I have to think about that.
Two road trips ago is when I discovered needle felting. Last road trip I found a wool shop in P. E. I. that became my favourite. This road trip I got to visit my favourite wool shop again. The fabulous thing was that just before we left for our road trip I received confirmation that I had been accepted to be a vendor at a Christmas Handmade art and craft market (my first). Of course I needed to stock up on supplies. What was difficult was attempting to limit my stocking up. The colour range is amazing. If you decide to travel to Prince Edward Island I recommend a visit to Belfast Mini Mills.
